Connect Up

For anyone using social media to keep in touch, we have started an NMC Facebook Group called - NMC Online with Connect Up

www.facebook.com/groups/NMCOnline/

For anyone not keen on social media there are other ways to stay in touch. Please do contact us if you would like any support or advice, have urgent equipment needs, or would like a chat!

The number is 01606 860911. During or outside of these hours, you are also very welcome to send us a message.

We will be arranging some 'virtual' activities and events in due course.

Our new NMC Facebook Group called 'NMC Online with Connect Up' is a closed group for anyone from the NMC Community. To join people just have to answer a simple question to prove that they are genuinely connected to the Centre and then one of the moderators will approve their request.

The main purpose of the group is to help everyone stay connected and have fun and it will be used to share news and information about upcoming online groups and clubs as well as cooking, music and art demos. There are already a few discussion topics underway about books, TV programmes and gardening so if anyone is looking for a way to stay in touch and keep motivated then please join in. https://www.facebook.com/groups/NMCOnline/

We will share information about this on the main NMC Facebook Page too.

If you would like any advice on how to set up a Facebook account, or have any questions then please get in touch and we will try to assist.

Read and Connect

Read and Connect is an exciting way of people connecting through books. Our Read and Connect book club usually meets at the Centre on the first Friday of each month at 11:30am.

Due to the current situation, we will be making alternative arrangements to discuss this month's book. Details will appear soon.

This month's book is:

  • The Jambusters by Julie Summers

Reel Connections
Our film club Reel Connections launched in May 2019.
We have enjoyed watching several films including The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society, Fisherman's Friend, Yesterday and Stan & Ollie.
Our films are shown at 1pm in the NMC Event Space and we look forward to showing another film at a future date.

For further information please email reelconnections3@gmail.com or telephone 01606 352834 or 01606 860911
We are innovative, passionate and strive to help as many people as possible.
