The Neuromuscular Centre has a variety of fundraising events which aim
to raise funds to support its work with people who have muscular dystrophy.

Hot
Pot Quiz Night - Friday 26th February 2010
Join us to tantalise your tastebuds and melt your mind, whilst having
a fun evening raising funds for The Neuromuscular Centre. Gather your
team and get ready to sizzle!
The NMC
will be hosting our Hot Pot Quiz night at The Grange Junior School
in Hartford.
Doors
open at 7pm, and the Quiz will start at 7.30pm.
Tickets
are just £9.50 and include quiz entry, and your hot pot supper
and a beer/soft drink. Vegetarian option is available, and is most probably
a risotto! A cash bar will also be available, at bargain prices.
Teams of
6-8, with a fabulous prize for the winning team, and we will also have
a fabulous raffle.

Gorgeous
Grub at the Grosvenor- Saturday 13th March 2010
The NMC are very excited to announce that this is the 10th anniversary
of our fabulous Gorgeous Grub at the Grosvenor event. Last year we were
delighted to welcome Michelin starred Michael Caines MBE who is Executive
Chef at Gidleigh Park in Devon as our celebrity Chef, so keep watching
for announcements for our Chef for 2010! Tickets for this event are
priced at £62.50 per person and include a Bucks Fizz Reception
on arrival, a four course meal with half a bottle of wine per person
and port with the cheese course. We also have an amazing luxury auction
with some spectacular prizes.

Marathon - Sun 25th April 2010
Take on the challenge of a lifetime and run the world's most famous
marathon in aid of the NMC. We have limited places for 2010, get in
touch with Leanne and run for Team NMC!

Ladies Lunch event at a fabulous venue, somewhere in Cheshire! Intrigued?
An evening
of Jazz - Wednesday 7th July 2010
Join us once again at this sell out event for another fabulous evening
of Jazz with Cheese and Wine at the magnificent Eaton Estate, with kind
permission of The Duke and Duchess of Westminster. It truly is a spectacular
setting from the drive through the estate with magnificent views across
the River and hundreds of deer roaming the extensive and beautiful grounds.
It has to be seen to be believed. Book your tickets now!

Arley
Hall Tribute Night Success
Thank-you
to everyone who braved the bad weather reports, which unfortunately
turned out to be true, to join us at Arley Hall and Gardens on Saturday
11th July to watch the "Truly Sensational" BeeGees Tribute
act Jive Talkin and the "Worlds greatest ABBA tribute act"
Voulez Vous.
We
were transported back to the 70's with all the favourite hits of the
70's in the beautiful grounds of Arley Hall and Gardens. The expected
rain held off all afternoon for picnics, but the downpour started the
very second Jive Talkin walked on stage, and didn't really stop all
evening. However, as can be seen from the photos, it certainly didn't
stop the crowd enjoying themselves, boogying the night away in style.
The
event ended with amazing firework extravaganza from Nemisis Fireworks
to conclude a fantastic evening of fun and reminiscing.
We
are delighted to announce that the event raised a magnificent £37,700
and we are already looking to next years concert on Saturday 10th
July 2010. Keep your diaries free for a bigger, better, more spectacular
summer concert with The NMC!
