NHS England Social Audit Project

NMC uses Social Audit and Account to measure the impact and social value its services have on its beneficiaries.

For the past 9 years the Social Audit at NMC has produced the data collated in a 100 page document, containing a lot of detail. A NHS England Celebrating Participation in Healthcare grant enabled our Social Audit project. The grant enabled NMC to produce a shorter paper copy of the Social Audit and a 5 minute video which was created by NMC service users.

The project was a great opportunity for NMC service users to get more involved with the Social Audit process and make the detail available in more bite-sized formats. As well as enhancing the way we share our qualitative data the project has enabled service user engagement to increase in the process of communicating NMC's Social Audit outcomes.

Below are links to what we produced; Shortened Social Audit 2014/15, Radio clip of NMC's Social Audit outcomes being broadcast, the video and some examples of how we used social media to share our Social Audit outcomes.
