Chester Cathedral's Christmas Tree Festival raises £5,700!

Chester Cathedral's Vice-Dean Peter Howell-Jones visited the NMC yesterday to present us with a very exciting cheque!

The NMC were absolutely delighted to have been chosen as the beneficiary for Chester Cathedral's Christmas Tree Festival in 2015, which saw thousands of visitors flock to see the tree filled cloisters. More than 50 decorated trees lined the cathedral's cloisters transforming the corridors into beautiful winter walkways.

Each year the trees are sponsored and decorated by local schools and businesses with proceeds going towards a local charity so for 2015 we were delighted that the NMC had been chosen.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Chester Cathedral for their support and for raising such a phenomenal amount. The £5,700 really will go a long way in helping us continue supporting the needs of people affected by muscular dystrophy from across the North West region and beyond.
