Organise your own fundraising event

Did you know that a large percentage of our donations each year come from groups and individuals organising their own fundraising events? Ranging from coffee mornings and bake sales, to charity football matches and cross country cycling, every year we’re in awe of the support we receive from our NMC community who give up their own time to raise money to support our vital work.

Fancy joining them and organising your own fundraising event?

Getting started

Would you like to help raise money for NMC, but don’t know where to start? Get in touch and ask us for a copy of our ‘Fundraising Ideas’ as well as our ‘A-Z of Fundraising’.

Tell us about your event

Once you’ve decided on your event, and are excited to get started, we’d love to hear what you’ve got planned! Let us know the date, time, venue and activity, and whether you’d like an NMC representative to attend, and we will see what we can do.

We’ve got loads of tips and tricks for helping to promote your event, including advice for setting up an online fundraising page. Please contact us for a copy of our ‘Guide to Promoting Fundraising Events’.

We have plenty of resources that we can provide you with to support your event.

Whether its leaflets, posters, collection tins and buckets, t shirts or sponsorship forms, please do not hesitate to get in touch. If you haven’t visited the centre before, we’d also be happy for you to come and visit, and see for yourself just how your fundraising event will help support our work.

Let us know how it went

Don’t forget to let us know how you got on! We’re happy to post photos of your event on our social media channels, and will send you a thank you letter and certificate once we’ve received your donation.
