You are invited to join us at our Spring Afternoon Tea, being held in the beautiful St Andrew’s Suite of Mottram Hall Hotel & Spa on Wednesday 30th May. Mottram Hall is indisputably one of the finest hotels in Cheshire, and is on the forefront of the United Kingdom’s luxury hotel scene. Tickets include a VIP Guest Pass to Mottram Hall’s Leisure and Alfresco Thermospace facilities worth £20*.

From midday, there will be a selection of luxury stalls to browse, and at 1pm you will be seated to enjoy an assortment of decadent afternoon tea treats, plus tea and coffee. Afterwards, you will be treated to our guest speaker for the day, Northwest Tonight’s Chief Reporter, Dave Guest.

Dave Guest is a familiar face in homes across the North West. He's been appearing on BBC TV's Northwest Tonight for more than 25 years. His job as Chief Reporter brings him into contact with a fascinating range of individuals and situations from the sensational to the surreal. He's reported on some of the biggest events to affect this region over the past quarter century. He'll be sharing his experiences and insights into life behind the scenes on the country's most watched regional TV programme in a presentation entitled: scoops, scandals and skateboarding dogs: the everyday life of a regional TV reporter.

Tickets are £25 and can be purchased on this webpage, or by contacting the Fundraising team on 01606 861 733.

The NMC is a centre of excellence which provides care and support for people with Muscular Dystrophy, a severe and debilitating muscle wasting condition, to help lead productive and fulfilling lives. We are the only centre to offer ongoing physiotherapy, active exercise, hydrotherapy, vocational training, supported employment opportunities and social events to those with neuromuscular conditions. Essentially, we want to empower people with muscular dystrophy to pursue educational and vocational opportunities by delivering services that physically slow the progression of muscle-wasting, whilst also working with people to tackle societal barriers and promoting an attitude that living with a disability shouldn’t hinder ambitions.

In order to maintain our vital services, we aim to raise £1.1m each year to keep the centre running. By attending our Spring Afternoon Tea, you are supporting us to help reach that target, which ultimately improves the lives of people with muscular dystrophy.

*VIP Guest Pass is valid for 3 months from the day of the event. All VIP Guest Pass holders must book in advance directly with Mottram Hall to access the spa facilities. Please note there is limited availability to the spa on the day of the Spring Afternoon Tea.
