How We Can Help You

Here at the NMC, we provide a range of support services to service users, families and carers. Our Support Worker, Denise Boyall, is the one who enables this vast range of services. Among other things, we can provide advice, help, information, mutual support and even equipment.


We can advise you on a variety of subjects, including equipment and benefits. Let us point you in the right direction!


The NMC can also help you with a lot of your problems. We have an extensive advocacy service, so you don't have to deal with all the paperwork of claiming benefits, and we provide counselling sessions. If you're in the neighbourhood, you can drop by for a chat as well.


If you need any information at all, whether it be personal or general, we can help you.

Mutual Support

At the NMC, service users support each other as well. Our NMC advocates are often service users themselves who want to help other people deal with the same problems they have encountered in the past. We also have a service user newsletter called 'One Voice' and website forums. All of these services ensure that, whatever the problem, there is always a fellow service user who can help you.


At the NMC, we have specialist equipment for I.T., physiotherapy and care, which you can view or try.


If you're a carer, don't feel left out! A great deal of these services are also available to you. You can always drop by and have a chat with one of our counsellors, or ask one of our other employees for advice or information. You may also be interested in the 'One Voice' newsletter, which contains alot of advice and information.
