Our second cookery workshop took place this week, with Steve Gaffney demonstrating how to make butternut squash and sweet potato soup. If you attended the workshop, don't forget to complete a feedback form, to let us know how we did. An image of Steve's recipe is attached. If you try this at home, maybe send us a picture and let us know how you got on.
Our final cookery workshop for now will take place on Thursday 28 February, when Sandie Wilson will be showing how to make lasagne and there will be a demonstration of accessible kitchen gadgets. If you would like to attend, email firstname.lastname@example.org or pop into the training and development to sign up.
Bryn from our Physiotherapy team delivered a very useful talk on health & safety in the kitchen and highlighted that first aid information can be very misinformed when it comes to wheelchair users. If you have any concerns Aid|training have some useful tips but, Training & Development will be addressing this subject in more detail at a later date with the knowledge of our specialised Physio team.
