Live in the Park at Arley Hall

22 Aug 2019

Our 11th annual outdoor tribute show raised an outstanding £43, 346! A huge thanks to everyone involved for making this event such a success.

First to the stage was Elly Jarmain with her act ‘Believe in Cher’. With an outstanding vocal impersonation, dry wit and outrageous costumes, Elly recreated the highlights of Cher’s phenomenal career. Next was Jake and Elwood’s Blues Brothers, hailed as ‘one of the best blues shows in the world’, who certainly proved what happens when great music, talent and energy collide.

Dancing Queens were then up on their feet for our headline act; Abba Re-Bjorn, the UK’s leading Abba tribute band. Made up of extremely talented singers and musicians, together they are the most authentic sounding tribute to one of the greatest and best loved acts of all time. With their tight harmonies, high energy performance, stunning replica costumes and audience participation aplenty, we thanked them for the music and laid all our love on the summer night city that was Live in the Park!

As well as world class entertainment, the audience were treated to fairground rides, could ‘get glit’ at our fabulous glitter hut and buy a range of merchandise on offer. We simply couldn’t put on an event of this scale without the support of our wonderful army of volunteers! More than 50 people gave up their time to take on numerous roles at the concert including selling raffle tickets and merchandise, stewarding and helping to take tickets on the gate.

All the professional photos from the evening are available on our facebook page: We’re already looking forward to next year’s concert! Tickets will be on sale on 1st February 2020.
