Level 2 Award in Art and Design
This
is a recognised qualification in Graphic Design. It will usually take
a student about a year to complete. It will enable students to learn
and then demonstrate they are proficient in all the industry standard
software packages used in a Graphic Design business - Quark, Adobe Photoshop
and Publisher.
Students
undertake a variety of exciting and interesting projects as part of
the training.
Students
studying for this qualification learn on Apple Macs - the preferred
tool in the Graphic Design industry.
Once
students gain the qualification then there are options
1. Continue studying at NMC (or elsewhere) to gain an even higher level
qualification.
2.
Gain employment in a Graphic Design company.
3.
Gain employment in NMC's own NMC Design+Print - our very own in house
commercial graphic design and print company.
4.
Try freelance Designing - maybe working from home.
