Welcome from Matthew Kelly

Dear Friends,

We’ve all deeply missed our Spirit of Christmas carol concert, and this year, much like the last one, has been full of challenges for all of us.

We’re pleased to announce, following the success of last year’s virtual event, we’ll be once again presenting a Christmas celebration for you to watch all from the comfort and safety of your own sofa, complete with our wonderful actors and musicians who provide their support every year.

I’m so proud to be a part of Spirit of Christmas, and to be the President of NeuroMuscular Centre, the incredible charity which supports hundreds of people and their families affected by neuromuscular conditions in your area.

Please support our exciting Virtual Spirit of Christmas carol concert and our wonderful charity which helps so many every year.

With love and thanks,

Matthew Kelly
President of NeuroMuscular Centre

A Star-Studded Line Up

We have many incredible performers for you who are generously supporting us in our Virtual Spirit of Christmas.

Here is a glimpse of some of our line up so far:

  • Ian Bartholomew: Ian recently starred in Coronation Street, playing villain Geoff Metcalfe until his bitter end earlier this year.

  • Roger Phillips: Most notably recognised from BBC Radio Merseyside, where he won countless awards and was named as the Sony Speech and Talk Broadcaster of the Year.

  • Tim McInnerny: Well known for his time in Blackadder as well as HBO’s Game of Thrones and 2021 crime drama The Serpent.

  • George Costigan: Best known for portraying Bob in the film Rita, Sue and Bob Too, with recent TV appearances in Gentlemen Jack, Line of Duty, Vera, and Happy Valley.

We'll also be 'joined' once again by the incredible music of Abbey Gate College Chapel Choir and Roberts Bakery Band, treating us to all the festive classics.
