Carers Week 7th - 12th June 2021
Carers Week is a week where we recognise the massive contribution our carers make to their families, friends and the NMC community. We would like to thank carers and family members for the amazing support they have given during the last year.
During Carers Week, we want to you to share some fun and laughter and have a time of escape and freedom from all things routine.
Please don’t let your caring role prevent you from joining us – this time is for you. If you need someone to ‘stand in’ for you to support the person you care for, please contact Denise Boyall on 01606 860911 or .
If you have a particular carer/family member/friend you would like thanking please contact us with their details.
We look forward to hearing from you.

NMC Is Here for Family Members and Carers Too
The NMC is here for family members and carers. We are here if you need any information, support or advice, or just fancy a chat. Please call us on 01606 860911 or email . we are always here to listen.
Carers Facebook Group
We have a private group just for our community of Carers. The link to join is: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1098624770515572/
We recognise the importance of friendship, community and a reliable and well informed support network and we believe that the carers within our community are one of our biggest assets. We know that you are always there for your loved one(s), so let us be here for you, and (perhaps more importantly) lets be here for each other.
This group is safe space to share your thoughts and concerns and let your voice be heard. It is a place to seek advice from other people who truly understand, a place to share your frustrations and worries, and a place to let your guard down and make new friends.
It is a closed group, so only members can read your posts, and all membership requests must be approved by an admin. As a result, this will be a small, trusted and friendly group of people with a connection to the NMC.
