Amazing Fundraising in Our NMC Community

Our incredible supporters have been thinking up weird and wonderful ways to raise funds and awareness for us during these uncertain and challenging times. We’re in awe of all the creative ideas out there and enormously grateful to everyone for their support.

If you’ve got a virtual fundraising idea, we’d love to hear from you! Contact Natasha: natasha.froggatt@nmcentre.com

Here’s a few of the wonderful activities people have been up to....

  • Charlie Bester celebrated his birthday lockdown-style with a Virtual Race Night with his friends, raising an amazing £800 for us!

  • Lorraine Woolley shared her story to honour our 30th birthday and has raised a staggering £3,500!

  • We held a virtual Easter Raffle, which attracted huge support by our chocolate-loving community and raised over £500.

  • Georgie Paling was due to take on the Hackney Half marathon, but instead is running a solo half marathon around Buckinghamshire! She has raised £230 so far.

  • Caroline Wood has made beautiful crochet cards, ready to sell at NMC.

  • We’ve held a series of virtual quiz nights in celebration of our 30th birthday, raising £1000.

  • Fi Anderson has raised £30 from a virtual Disney Singalong event, and over £100 from a ‘name the teddy bear’ competition.

  • Alison Morgan has raised over £260 by 'braving the shave' and having her head shaved!

  • Jake Hudson has raised over £450 from his challenge to watch all 26 James Bond films in 26 days.

  • Gemma Ainscough and her parents have raised £100 in lieu of anniversary gifts.

  • Carole Winstanley is celebrating her birthday this month, and instead of gifts has requested donations to NMC. She has already raised £250.

  • Macclesfield Town Ladies U10s are walking / running / hiking / cycling the distance to Wembley! They’re raised over £330 so far.

  • We've received £274.50 from Arley Hall in donations from Live in the Park ticket buyers.

The 351 volunteers that support the NMC by giving their time, energy, skill and expertise are also very much an essential element of our community.
