NMC Vehicle and Mobility Roadshow

Welcome to the NMC Vehicle and Mobility Roadshow! Join us at The Neuromuscular Centre for a day filled with opportunities to discuss your needs with experts including the NMC physio team.
Try out mobility aids, powerchairs, scooters and find out more about adaptive driving solutions . There will be workshops on 'falls prevention' and options to 'Move or Improve' when getting about at home becomes a challenge.
Itinerary
11am - 11:30am. 'Fall Prevention Presentation' with Paul Orme, Head of Physiotherapy
11:30am - 11:45am. Mangar lifting seat equipment demo
11:45am - 12:15pm. 'Move or Improve' with Sarah Lalieu, Careers and Employment Manager
12:15pm - 1:30pm. Soup served in the kitchen
1:45pm - 2:15pm. 'Fall Prevention Presentation' with Paul Orme, Head of Physiotherapy
Throughout the day the following will be available for advice and demonstrations
Warrington Disability Partnership – Powerchair/scooter and equipment
BAS – Vehicle adaptations
North Wales Mobility and Driving Assessment Centre – advice on all aspects of driving with a disability
Mercado Medic – riser office chair
Bennett Workplace Solutions – home and office seating and solutions
Gym appointments are available (booking required) and there will be adapted vehicles for viewing in car park.
Hot drinks including speciality coffee are provided by Barista Ze. Soup lunch is provided.
